Conversion Funnels
A conversion funnel is a designated path of steps visitors follow on a website that leads towards conversion.
A conversion funnel is usually monitored in order to understand and optimize the way in which visitors use and engage with a site. This knowledge can then be used to improve website usability and increase conversion.
The ClickTale system automatically generates a Conversion Funnel based on existing data in your account.
To start using the Conversion Funnel click on the Conversion Funnel button located on the left menu, as seen below.

Heatmaps
Heatmaps are aggregated reports that visually display what parts of a webpage are looked at, clicked on, focused on and interacted with by thousands of online visitors. ClickTale’s Comprehensive Heatmap Suite lets you optimize your websites conversion rates and usability by visualizing your visitors’ every mouse move, click, and scroll. ClickTale Heatmaps include:
The 'Hidden Objects' button is available in every heatmap of the ClickTale Heatmap Suite.
Located in the 'Settings' area, use this button to view menus, texts or links that are not immediately visible to your visitors upon landing on a page.
This feature allows you to understand why you are receiving a lot of clicks in a certain area, that does not appear to display any interactive content. Your visitors may be interacting with a 'Hidden Object', which is only visible upon a specific interaction.
Search Recordings
The ClickTale system allows you to watch recordings of your visitors’ full browsing sessions to discover exactly how they use your site.
Our Advanced Filtering helps you find specific videos of visitors according to their demographic data (country, language), behavior on your site (engagement time, viewed pages), and browsing history (referrer, previous page, etc.).
