Mouse Move Heatmap
The Mouse Move Heatmap is a comprehensive, visual representation of what visitors are looking at and focusing on within a webpage based the mouse moves of thousands of visitors to a site. Research shows that there is and 84%- 88% correlation between mouse and eye movements, allowing the creation of high-precision heatmaps, based on just the users' mouse movements. This provides a definitive method for conducting accurate eye-tracking on a massive scale at a fraction of the cost.
Please note, Heatmaps may need to be selected by date range rather than page version for dynamic sites that serve different versions of the same page to visitors. For more information see our wiki page on how to unify several page versions.

Knowing precisely where your visitors are moving their mouse and what they are looking at supplies relevant and actionable information to help increase conversion rates.Use this information to evaluate the placement of your content, call to action buttons and advertising space.
We also keep the data for every version of your page. This allows for effortless A/B testing of multiple page elements. You can test which content, elements and layout increase conversion rates, what your customers see just before they decide to purchase a product, and how many people miss your call to action buttons.
How to use
You can access the Mouse Move Heatmap by either selecting Heatmaps followed by Mouse Move on the dashboard or simply clicking on the Mouse Move Heatmap graphic located in the top left box on the dashboard screen. By clicking the button you can then change the parameters of the heatmap. Select the Page URL you are interested in analyzing, followed by the page version or date range. Click "View" to generate the Heatmap.
Buttons and Uses
| Relates to the colors of the Heatmap. The Red areas of the page correlate to areas with higher mouse movements whereas the blue (cold) areas of the page show areas with little to no mouse movement. | |

Link Analytics
There are 8 statistics offered with Link Analytics (hover over a link to view all or click on the Link Analytics menu to choose):
Clicks

Counts the number of clicks and the percent of the total clicks on every link.
Hovers

The number of mouse hovers over a link.
Hover Order

Ranks links by the average order in which they were hovered-over by visitors. Shows which links attract the mouse first, second and so on.
Time to Click

The average time between the moment a page has been loaded to the moment a link is clicked. You can discover which links are the most attractive by seeing the average time it takes for a visitor to click on them.
Hover Time

The average time the mouse hovers over a link, indicating the visitor’s interest level.
Clicking Visitors

The number of unique visitors who clicked on the link.
Hover Conversion

The percentage of visitors that clicked the link after hovering over it, shows you how well the link invites visitor interaction.
Hesitation

The average time from the beginning of a mouse hover to the moment of the mouse click.

Display objects that are hidden on the page display like drop down menus
Percent
Use this button to display information as either a percentage of the number of visitors or the actual number of visitors per item.
