[edit] Best Practices

Knowing precisely where your visitors are moving their mouse and what they are looking at supplies relevant and actionable information to help increase conversion rates.Use this information to evaluate the placement of your content, call to action buttons and advertising space.

We also keep the data for every version of your page. This allows for effortless A/B testing of multiple page elements. You can test which content, elements and layout increase conversion rates, what your customers see just before they decide to purchase a product, and how many people miss your call to action buttons.

[edit] How to use

You can access the Mouse Move Heatmap by either selecting Heatmaps followed by Mouse Move on the dashboard or simply clicking on the Mouse Move Heatmap graphic located in the top left box on the dashboard screen. By clicking the File:Capture.PNG button you can then change the parameters of the heatmap. Select the Page URL you are interested in analyzing, followed by the page version or date range.
